Nursery Co. Manager


Do you have a Level 3 qualification in Child Care and at least 3 years’ experience?
Victoria House Nursery is recruiting for the position of Co-Manager to work together with our existing Deputy Manager. We will consider both full and part time applicants for this role.



  • Early Years Foundation Stage Practitioner Level 3 or above
  • Nursery & Childcare minimum of 3 years experience
  • Management, Deputy manager experience essential


Job Description

As our Co Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of
nursery provision on a day-to-day basis whilst working alongside our current Acting
Manager. You will be responsible for, high quality practice, marketing and safeguarding of
children and client satisfaction.


Main Duties

To lead and manage high quality practice in the nursery. To be effectively compliant with
procedures for Registrations and Inspections, Child Day-care standards and other relevant
bodies. Base hours of 40 hours per week, with the understanding to do additional hours as
when the nursery requires. You would share the role with our current Acting Manager, with
either on a full or part-time basis.


Desirable Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 3 in Childcare
  • Passionate about Early years education and childcare
  • Excellent communicator at all levels
  • Organise own work effectively and that of others, identify priorities and meet outcomes
  • Previous experience of managing a similar setting * Up to date knowledge of EYFS framework and regulations
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children in line with Government expectations
  • Awareness of health and safety requirements 
  • Proven track record of managing/teaching across the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum
  • Inspire and lead your team to deliver high quality early years care and education
  • Ability to build relationships with parents and the wider community
